Hold up squad (known as well as Hold up) is a
dance hall group 100% composed by females, mostly specialized in Dance hall.

Composed of 5 dancers ( Evee Smile, Cassie, Céline, Marine and Shynis), It has been created in 2015 in Paris.

It's during her first trip to Jamaica that the CEO, Evee Smile, decided to unite these dancers with strong personalities, before all in order to communicate their common passion and share their love for dance.

Original, the style of the group is influenced by the origins of all of the members and the mix of their cultures.
You can find the french touch in their style, even tho the basis stays the Jamaican dancehall.

Hold up squad's goal is to develop its identity in dance hall while adding some different flavors like the energy of hip hop, the african dynamics, or even the house footworks.

Feminine, but also hardcore, Hod up squad dancers have been quickly noticed by participating in numerous battles (winners of krush Yard and War da Killa, Big up Kemp, HAD, Top Up, MFM, Africa best dance camp...)
Today, Hold up Squad is giving workshops and are performing in France and in other countries to share their spirit.
