COMPETITION GONE WRONG

In the last two days, there has been rumours surrounding the infamous Dance with Peter competition where most of the competitor
s have not been paid their dues respectively. This has led the team of DANCEFAMETV to go in search of one of the participant and to our amazement, it's quite true. We where able to interview two of the dancers who pleaded anonymity. One of them specifically said Peter and Kaffy (one of the most sought after choreographer and dancer) has said nothing about it. It's more like they aren't concerned maybe because they must have been paid before the show began. It's been six months and these dancers have not been paid and most of them can't complain because of the high level of status their role models/judge hold in the entertainment industry which I find very absurd.
It's quite disheartening that the competition has brought about a growing concern for other upcoming competitions/competitors. I mean it's really sad the industry is full of corrupt celebrities who only care to save their own asses not minding whoever has his/her life on the line. This is just a clear view of greed, selfishness and self centeredness. They want to be on the front line receiving all the spotlight while the ones who work hard to make every movement great are deprived of their rights. They have underestimated, devalued and manipulated these young talents because they have made themselves godmother/godfathers of the industry making these young souls feel they can't be successful without them. This is not right. A lot of these youngies get to put food on the table because they dance. Some take care of personal businesses because they dance. Some even deprive themselves further education just to dance because they believe. Because they have the faith to be one of the best. I'm very sure many of these godmothers/godfathers cannot perform in a show without being paid first, then why suffer these young ones.
The Nigeria Dance Industry need some serious check and balancing to avoid unnecessary issues that should not be heard in other countries. It's Just as sad as it can be. I mean this is a bad reputation for them. This has to STOP!!!
